PHTJT100B is the smaller unit of the PHT range, designed to match vessels with Diesel engines up to 255hp (188 kW) with the requirement for E-power for the propulsion and charging batteries or generate electricity limited to 50kW. The PHJT has a have duty, light weight and compact design allowing for installation in leisure vessels as well as in small workboats.

The PHJT unit is equipped with an electromagnetic 24VDC clutch, allowing for a smooth dis/-engagement of diesel engine when required. The PHJT unit can be connected to the Diesel engine via its SAE 3 or 4 housing and through an elastic coupling to the Diesel engine flywheel (11.5” or 10”). The output shaft can be connected to the propulsion shaft (Jet-drive) or to the marine gear shaft via Escogear flexible coupling.

Thanks to the integrated ratio, torque of the electric motor will be multiplied at the entry to the marine gear, thus for the propulsion. When running in Diesel mode, the E-machine speed will be increased by the chosen ratio, it gives higher generating capacity at lower diesel speed.
